April 14, 2009I'm one year older (not sure about the wiser part) today and to celebrate, Jeff is taking me on an overnight getaway tomorrow - without the munchkin! It's the first time we've gone somewhere overnight just the two of us since before Pearl was born. My sister is so wonderful to take Pearl overnight for us and I know they will have a fun time together and hopefully I keep the worrying to a minimum. I am so excited but have no clue where we are going so in true Jenny fashion, I have over-packed just in case I need something.

Try not to spend TOO much time thinking about Pearl. The hardest part is leaving. About ten minutes later you'll be fine. :)
