April 27, 2009After yesterday's little oven incident, I was a bit freaked out (and a slightly grateful because Pearl was napping), that none of our smoke alarms went off. I thought for sure they would all be going crazy with the billowing smoke but not a one of them beeped. So today I stopped by Walmart on the way home from my last day of class (yeah!), and bought three new smoke alarms. Now let's just hope I remember to check the batteries every few months.

They say you should change your batteries every General Conference. AND update your 72 hour kits! You DID get those put together, right?!? :)
