May 3, 2009It didn't seem to matter to Pearl that it wasn't her birthday... she still wanted the first piece of cake. We celebrated Jeff's mom and our niece Cassie's 11th birthdays today with dinner and cake. Pearl was really excited to eat the candles, yes eat them, and dig into that sugary sweet dessert. She didn't even bother singing happy birthday to the birthday girls before taking her share of it.

Better she just takes some cake than stand behind the unsuspecting birthday kid and blow the candles out while the birthday kid takes a moment to make a wish!
What a cutie patootie!! Keep this pic, Jen, it is fabulous fodder for blackmail later in life. :)
