June 23, 2009If you're really good, you just might take the crappy car to the shop to finally get its oil changed, after almost 3,000 miles more than what you should have put on it between visits.
If you're really good, your two-year-old will only scream for a minute or two that some strange man is driving off with her car, even after explaining to her that he is going to fix it.
If you're really good, your mom might scrounge up a quarter to buy you some Reese's pieces (too bad being really good only gets you five of them) from the vending machine.
If you're really good, the mechanic won't tell you anything else is wrong with your car you hope doesn't die on you at any moment or explode from going six months without getting the oil changed.
If you're really good, your mom will take you to the DI for a toy for being so good.
If you're really good, your "used" toy will actually be a brand new bowling ball set that cost only $1.50.
If you're really good, your mom will let you play in the pool all afternoon and eat Popsicles (chocolate ones at that).
If you're really good, you get to keep your swimming suit on all evening, including during dinner, a nap on mom's chest while she finishes her book, and while you pretend play with your grocery cart, blankets, and baby doll.
If you're really good, you just might get the one day off that you have to go to work the entire week... guess I wasn't really good today as it's back to reality tomorrow!

That is the most adorable picture of Pearl I've ever seen. Seriously, she looks so stinkin' cute!
