April 9, 2009If it's too cold to plant a garden outside, then we'll grow one in the house. Jeff bought some giant pumpkin seeds tonight and planted them in an egg carton. Egg cartons must be made from different material nowadays because it sort of fell apart after we watered the seeds. Guess we'll have to transplant them tomorrow into little ceramic pots I've been saving ever since we bought our house and I refused to throw them out - they are just so cute. Pearl wasn't too impressed, probably distracted by her bowl of ice cream. Which isn't a bad thing necessarily because it kept the soil contained on the paper instead of all over the floor. If they are anything like last year's pumpkins they are going to be HUGE!
