January 22, 2008Girls Night Out was a rainy trip around the ice rink at the Gallivan Plaza Center in Downtown SLC. Now anyone who has seen me ice skate knows that I am about as good as a 3 year old learning how to skate for the first time. Jeff skates circles around me (it doesn't hurt that he grew up within walking distance from an outdoor ice rink) and usually has to pull me off the rink because I get stuck in the middle. But this time I didn't fall once and I actually blew right past my friend Libbey a few times (well if you think 5 mph on skates is fast). At least I got out of the house and did some socializing!
