April 15, 2009Jeff surprised me with a stay at the Homestead Resort in Midway. Too bad by the time we made it through the blizzard and ate (oh ya and stopped by the outlet stores for some new jeans), it was too late to do any of the activities at the resort. Apparently there is a hot springs in a crater, golfing (uh didn't see anything green the whole time we were there), an activity center, gift shop, and $$$$ massages. I did find the geese and ducks waddling around outside the resort's restaurant amusing. Sorry for the lousy picture of our dinner entertainment - it was dark, snowing, and I only had my little camera with me.
