September 23, 2009Pearl is always excited to show me her art projects she's made. Today she had just finished her self portrait when I picked her up and with glue still dripping off the paper, handed it to me and said excitedly, "Mom, it's me!" You know what? I think Pearl is right... it does look just like her.

How cute!! I still get a kick out of what my boys come home with. It's fun to see how their mind works while I'm away. In my opinion, I think her self portrait is spot on. ;)
I just want you to know that I didn't help her AT ALL on that art project. She was the only child in my whole class (even out of the older ones) who actually understands that eyes and mouths and hair go on your head. Your child is a genius.
I love her attitude...no shy Violet for you, Jen. I love reading about her and her fab tantrums. I wish I could experience her in person!!
I love the self-portrait. And seriously, for her to place the hair, eyes, etc. in the right place is great! What a smartie!
