We love soft sheets at our house and are very, very picky when it comes to sheets. We won't sleep on anything with less than a 500 thread count (preferably 700+) or at least several years of washing to make them super soft. Not to mention Jeff's obsession with having the sheets put on the bed the "correct" way (I finally gave up fighting him on this after 6 years of marriage and make the bed his way - no seams touching Jeff and his pillow turned so the long part of the pillow case hangs towards my side of the bed). Unfortunately for any new pair of sheets they have to compete with our memories of the softest, most comfortable sheets we ever had. Sadly, they got a small tear in them and I stuck my foot right through it a few months ago, completely destroying them. I guess after 6 years they had served their purpose but we haven't slept as soundly since. Until now. My parents bought us some new Aggie blue sheets for Christmas with a super high thread count. While not as soft as our old sheets, they do have potential. So, in celebration of the pending Aggie victory over Hawaii and because I needed a picture for My 365 Project, I put them on the bed today. With just a few more months of use, they should be as soft as our old ones.
