I hate the University of Utah, I really do. Sure they have an awesome football team but other than that I hate 'em. I'm in my last class to finally graduate (whole saga to this point with my program but I'll spare the details) and have emailed my professor at least 3 times the first week of class because I was in Atlanta for the first day, then the next week was a holiday so no class last week either. I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I needed to do and make sure my class hadn't gotten canceled because only 4 people signed up for it. He tells me to not worry about anything, come tonight and all will be well. So I drag my butt through traffic up to the U and walk around looking for my classroom 'cause I've never been to this building before and refuse to buy a parking permit my last year of school. I find the classroom but no one shows up. At this point I start wandering around looking lost and find a nice administrative lady to help me. She makes a call and tells me that my class has been changed to Wednesdays at 6 instead of Mondays at 4:30. Great. Apparently this has been a problem before with my professor. She also kindly finds his cell phone number and I call to find out what to do now that I've missed the first two weeks of class. Long story, but class is still Mondays he was just a whimp and didn't want to shovel out of his driveway (we live in Utah...12 inches of snow isn't that much) and decided to cancel class today and hold on online chat at 5:30. Apparently he forgot to email me the details, syllabus, and reading materials. Great again. It's now 5 and I have to run to the bookstore to get my textbook then drive back through traffic, fire up the Internet, try to keep Pearl somewhat entertained, and chat online with two people I don't know. When I get to bookstore and find the online order pickup there's a sign telling me to go to customer service so I venture back downstairs only to get a stare like "you really are stupid" and sent back upstairs to another desk (which btw does not say customer service on it). I barely make it home for our online class discussion and am now a good two weeks behind. Typical, just typical of my entire experience at the University of Utah - SUCKY!
And since it's my little sis' birthday today, I'll give you a cute bonus picture of her with her cupcakes I made yesterday. I didn't have any candles so I stuck a Blow Pop sucker right in the middle for her to blow out. Plus in my irritation, I didn't get a picture of anything "U"ish and she brought over her sweatshirt for me to take a picture of. Thanks Kimmy!

No need to hate on the U. As an Aggie-Ute myself, I promise there is enough love for everyone. Can't we all just get along? Yes! As long as no Cougars are involved. :)
Jenny-
I just want you to know that the cupcakes you sent home with me, were gone as of yesterday. :) They were delicious!
P.S. I looked pretty cute on my birthday!
OH, and I kind of want to try this 365 thing...however, I don't think I'd remember to get something for every day. Any suggestions?
